We have custom-built boxes into the front of the vehicle to safely house all the equipment that we will be using. This environment is not kind to delicate electronic gear so it all needs to packed very carefully while at the same time being easy to access and use.

We use highly modified vehicles to be able to work productively and efficiently out here. Certain mechanical modifications are required to cope with the constant beating the vehicles take and to make them operationally efficient.

As the nearest town, Maun, is 4 hours away, all repairs and maintenance to vehicles needs to be done by ourselves in camp. We work in a harsh environment and the film vehicles take a battering. Constant maintenance is mandatory, but we always need to do running repairs of some sort or another.
