On the hunt for reptiles on a cold morning

I’m looking forward to seeing the park through Darryl’s eyes. Watching somebody knowledgeable in a new ecosystem is always interesting and rewarding. he wanted to find snakes which should have been possible seeing as 3 different ones were seen around here yesterday. But it rained in the night (typically as I was getting my stuff out of my car) and the morning is cool and damp indeed. Boris vs the ice rats

Endemic only to this part of Lesotho, but very tricky to film. As soon as you see one pop its head up it disappears again back into its burrow. While Boris has his back turned one ice rat seems to be watching over his shoulder.
