Full moon giraffe

7 Jun

It was full moon this evening. The full moon rises close to sunset and this is always a special time. The heavy moon, impossibly big, rises above a landscape glowing with the last of the sun’s rays.

We always try to find somewhere picturesque to watch the full moon rise and this evening, as luck would have it, we found a herd of giraffe in a large open plain that surrounds a small baobab close to camp. Occasionally the wildlife do read the script.
