Life in and out of the Pomene Estuary.

7 Sep

We have done so much diving in the estuary here over the past week and have managed to find some excellent subjects, from these Razor Fish to Frogfish, Seahorses, some strange looking creatures. Although we are just starting to crave the ocean a little, it is really quiet amazing diving in this estuary that becomes super clean on every high tide. This has meant for us to dive on the Sea Grass beds in front of our camp we need to do so on the high tide, which does influence our daily routine.

Another thing that we have to be aware of is there isn’t electricity all day in this part of the world, the Pomene Lodge runs on generator and there is only one spot with slight cellular reception.
