African wild dog pack on the move May 7 2008
It was a wet day in South Africa’s oldest game reserve, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi, and a zebra foal was taking shelter under its mother. Then the Earth-Touch crew saw a pack of African wild dogs (Lycaon pictus) moving fast across the river plain.

Polar bears (Ursus maritimus) are the largest carnivores on earth, and can weigh between 300 and 600kg (660-1320lb). They are found in Arctic areas only, including Denmark, Russia, Norway and Canada.
They are largely dependent on the sea ice environment of the Arctic, and are considered by environmental groups to be extremely vulnerable and a threatened species.

The hatchlings of the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) enter the ocean soon after they are born and vanish for up to five years. For 50 years, researchers have been unable to explain what happens to them during this period, before they return closer to shore fully grown.
