Egrets follow lechwe May 6 2008

The ridged and lyre-shaped horns of male red lechwe (Kobus leche) can be put to lethal effect in the breeding season, but when the Earth-Touch crew came across a herd in the Moremi Game Reserve, in Botswana, the effect was more decorative.

Lions and smaller creatures of the Okavango Dec 20 2007

After a eating a tsessebe, lions laze in the long grass of the Okavango Delta in Botswana in the Earth-Touch clip, Small creatures lively while lions laze.

The lions are not active as they digest their meal, so the crew has a chance to film the smaller attractions of this area.

Radio collars on lions Dec 13 2007

In several of our recent lion video clips from the Okavango Delta (for example, Risky brushes with lions, Lion cubs lead the way), you will have noticed that some of the lionesses have collars around their necks. These are radio transmitter collars used by biologists running a lion research project here in Botswana.

Lions prepare to mate Dec 5 2007
