18 Nov
Fridays are all about winding down and making weekend plans so we never post anything too serious on these most cheerful days of the working week. Instead, we bring you some visually inspiring photos from our Flickr group.

2. Torrent – Trevi nel Lazio by ToИio
3. Slim pickings!! by Picture Taker 2

A spotted hyaena trying to get some leftovers off a pretty well worked-over carcass as the vultures look on. This hyaena has a pretty good wound just under its right ear that has healed pretty well. It would be intresting to know how the zebra met its end. The carcass is in a pretty unusual position. Shot on the plains of the Masai Mara, Kenya, Africa.

5. Starry-eyed by arkansas traveler
6. Grey Heron keeping an eye out for prey by Erwin Luesink
7. All creatures great and small by Earth-Touch Admin

Lions might reign over the African savannah, but there are small & secret kingdoms bustling away right under their noses.
8. RED TAIL! by Picture Taker 2

Did you ever wonder if a "RED-TAILED HAWK" really has a red tail? Well, wonder NO more! Captured at "Camera Day" at the Bird Sanctuary, this shot pretty much tells the whole story.

the drsgonfly picture is out of this world. And the lion next to the termite or ant hill is really good to. so natural.
